Annual Training Camp & Coach Certification
Learn It. Coach It. Implement It.
A structured, biomechanically sound Muay Thai coaching system designed to be taught in your school — not just trained in a seminar.
The TMA Muay Thai System
Most Muay Thai seminars teach techniques. You train for a day, pick up some combinations, and go home. Three months later, you are not sure how to teach what you learned, or whether your students can actually retain it.
The TMA Muay Thai System was built differently. Every strike, combination, and drill is grounded in sound biomechanics and progressive learning principles. The result is a system that athletes understand, retain, and perform — and that coaches can teach with confidence.
Master H.D. Tran has been refining and teaching this system since 2010. Over 100 martial arts schools throughout North America have gone through the certification. The work speaks for itself.
"Raise Your Standard."
Three Ways to Work With Master Tran
Every school owner and athlete arrives at a different point. Here is how we work together.
Primary Offering
Certification
This is the foundation. Built for school owners and head instructors who want a proven Muay Thai system they can implement inside their academy. You will walk away with a structured curriculum, a coaching methodology, and a rank-based certification that grows with you over time. The camp and seminar exist because of this program — they are extensions of it.
Three full days of structured Muay Thai training led by Master H.D. Tran and the TMA coaching staff. Open to martial artists and practitioners at any level. No certification required — just a commitment to showing up and pushing your standard.
Bring Master H.D. Tran directly to your school or event. A focused seminar experience covering Muay Thai technique, coaching methodology, or curriculum development — tailored to your academy's needs and your athletes' level.
Why It Is Different
The TMA Muay Thai System was designed with one question in mind: can a coach take this back to their school and actually teach it?
That question changes everything — from how techniques are broken down, to how drills are sequenced, to how progressions are built. This is a coaching system first, a training experience second.
Every technique is built on principles of movement and body mechanics — making it easier for students to understand, retain, and execute under pressure.
The curriculum follows a deliberate progression. Foundational skills build into advanced applications, so athletes at every level have a clear path forward.
You will not leave with a collection of techniques. You will leave with a system you can teach, structure your classes around, and build a curriculum from.
Over 100 schools across North America have put this system inside their academies. It works because it was built to work — repeatedly, across different student populations.
What You Walk Away With
People come for the Muay Thai. They leave with a higher standard for themselves.
Clean, correct Muay Thai technique built on biomechanical principles — not just imitation of what looks good in the ring.
A structured, progressively organized Muay Thai curriculum you can implement inside your school from day one.
The ability to break down and teach technique in a way that athletes at any level can actually understand and absorb.
A rank-based credential that reflects real investment in the system — meaningful to your students and your professional reputation.
Connection to a community of serious school owners and coaches committed to the same standard. The relationships from this event last years.
This event will challenge how you train, how you coach, and how you carry yourself. You will leave with a clearer picture of what you are capable of.
Coach Certification Pathway
The TMA Muay Thai Coach Certification is not a one-day badge. It is a rank-based pathway that develops over time, recognizing coaches who are serious about their craft.
Level 1 establishes the foundation of the TMA Muay Thai System. You will learn the core strikes, combinations, and footwork patterns — and how to teach each one using the TMA coaching methodology. This is where the system begins.
Level 2 expands the technical curriculum and deepens your coaching application. You will work with more complex combinations, advanced drills, and progressive curriculum design. Level 2 coaches are expected to demonstrate not just skill, but the ability to develop it in others.
KRU is the highest designation in the TMA Muay Thai System. It is earned through continued commitment, demonstrated over time — not in a single event. KRU coaches represent the standard the system is built on. It is a designation earned, not given.
The Red Rocks Experience
One of the defining moments of the TMA Training Camp is the Red Rocks outdoor training experience. There is something that happens when you remove the mats, the mirrors, and the air conditioning — and you train outside, at altitude, in one of the most striking landscapes in Colorado.
It is not just a workout. It is a reminder of what you are capable of when the environment demands more from you. Every person who has done it remembers it.

Every year, school owners, coaches, and athletes from across North America come to train, certify, and connect. What happens in those three days — inside the training, at dinner, around the mats — is not something you can recreate online.
The people you meet here are building something. Their schools, their teams, their own standard. The relationships that come out of this event are professional and personal. Some of the strongest partnerships in the TMA network were built at this camp.
That culture is not accidental. It is the result of bringing the right people together, consistently, over many years.

From the People Who Attended
"I can count on one hand the people I would recommend my own students to for cross-training. It's a short list. But Master Tran is one of those people."
Key members of the Freedom School of Martial Arts crew just came back from an intense three-day workshop — and a lot of us were there last year too. We are all still lit up with excitement.
Tran's method for breaking down the art of Muay Thai kickboxing is genius. In one single drill, athletes may learn how to attack multiple levels, angles, and ranges — with various weapons (fist, shin, elbow, knee) — all with a view to using the body's natural mechanics for maximum efficiency, impact, and safety.
As an educator in this field for over 40 years, I can say that combining simplicity and complexity is an art in itself. Yet that is exactly what Tran has accomplished with his curriculum. This curriculum can be adopted and adapted by any serious instructor seeking to help his or her people reach the next level of competence and confidence.
Tran only offers his workshop once per year. But the effects are long lasting. Master Tran's standards for his art, his staff, and himself are matchless. Every time I spend time with him I catch the fever again — the thing that made me want to be an instructor of martial arts: a lifelong pursuit of personal and community excellence.
Whether you are a school owner or a recreational martial artist looking to level up your game — do your future self a favor and jump into the next TMA clinic.
"We learned amazing combos and great techniques. We all leveled up our Muay Thai skills. We talked about how to become better coaches, better school owners, and better leaders."
If you have a chance to commit and level up your Muay Thai skills, I promise you — it will be epic.
"I have trained in other Muay Thai gyms, but the details I learned in this certification really helped me better understand the art. I recommend this course to all instructors and school owners who want in-depth understanding and proper technique."
I love the culture and positive learning environment of TMA. I look forward to Level 2.
"The program was an incredibly valuable experience, providing high-quality instruction in a supportive and inclusive environment. Master Tran's teaching style made the training accessible while still challenging me to improve my skills and understanding of Muay Thai."
I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to elevate their training, whether they are a beginner or an experienced martial artist seeking to take their abilities to the next level.
"Growth happens when you get out of your comfort zone, and for a few days I got to be a student. I was pushed, corrected, and challenged to improve. That's what it's all about. Continuous self improvement."
Training at Red Rocks. Great people, great instruction, sore muscles, some laughs, and plenty of ideas to bring back home. The coaches and especially Master Tran are the best.
"Master Tran's instruction is next level. His blend of traditional Muay Thai with Dutch Kickboxing was exactly what I was looking for."
The morning training at Red Rocks Amphitheater is an experience I will never forget. It was great connecting with other school owners looking to grow as leaders and martial artists.
"Master Tran and his team took their time filling in my gaps and teaching me the pieces I was missing."
What I loved most is that the culture was positive and uplifting while still teaching us how to destroy things with our limbs. Made some great new friends and contacts. An experience I won't soon forget.
"Master Tran is a true martial artist. You can see right away the energy and passion he has for Muay Thai — and the love and commitment to help his students grow and succeed."
Any instructors and school owners out there that want quality, top-class instruction in Muay Thai: I highly recommend training under Master Tran. I will treasure my time during this certification course.

KRU is earned through continued commitment and progression over time within the TMA Muay Thai System — it is a designation that reflects sustained investment, not a one-event credential.

Set in the iconic Red Rocks landscape outside Denver, Colorado, it combines conditioning, technical training, and the kind of mental challenge that comes from training outside your comfort zone — literally.
